C and I both had to work today so we met up with them later this evening for dinner. We hung out by the pool for a little bit and then we went to Olive Garden for dinner. I had the soup and salad and loved it like always. We ordered their two new desserts for all of us to share. Oh, they were so good. One was especially chocolatey and the other was these little tiny donut dough puffs. Yum. Reminded both Jen and I of the doughnuts Mom and Dad would get us as we were leaving out of town on vacations at 6 a.m. in the morning when we were children. Mom always loved a good doughnut.
Didn't do much else, just spent the evening with them and then headed home. And that was good.
