This always happens to me...we're still sitting here...and will be for another 30 - 45 minutes.  About 15 minutes ago, they told us the mechanical issue will take 45 minutes to an hour to fix.

I am squished into a seat that certainly does not feel like a choice seat.  When we get up into the air, I hope this pilot hauls butt because by the time we get to Phoenix my butt and legs are likely going to have completely fallen asleep and I probably will be unable to walk.

Crap! That is the worst, you are all excited to finally get up in the air and they send the news that you're still on the ground. That happened to me when my Mom died and we were stuck on the ground for over 3 hours, and then I missed my connecting flight in Chicago after running as fast as I could and hitting several people with my suitcase as it was flying in the air. Then I get to my gate and they just closed the door and would not let me on. Really.... you only just closed the door... And, oh by the, way that was after hemorrhaging on my delayed flight...Boy did that really stink!

Glad you are finally home....
