Melon Man has been temporarily assigned to work at a store 35 miles away from home...and to work days. Not thrilled with the extra miles, but I am happy that we get to carpool together for the next month. It has been nice to have that time together with him. He drops me off at work on his way. I get in to work early. He picks me up when he's done. It gets me out of work at a decent time. We have dinner together. We relax together. I love riding in the carpool lane - especially when all of the other traffic in the main lanes is backed up! I'm not used to the traffic since I go in later than most people do, so that carpool lane sure comes in handy!
