Temple Update

Drove by the temple site tonight on my way home from work.  Just felt the need to go somewhere sacred.  It's amazing how even though it's a construction site still, you can feel the difference and know that this is a special place.  I felt peace.  My heart was full.  I can't wait for this sacred building to be complete so I can go there often.

They have started framing some of the inside walls.  They are still working on the concrete panels for the spire portion.  President Ritman told us recently that they are not going to announce when the angel Moroni will be placed on the spire so it will not cause a large crowd and draw ire with the neighbors.  I'm sad about that, but it's okay.
