It's Here!

The furniture arrived today and ...... we love it! We are so GRATEFUL that we were able to buy it - debt free. It's huge! But, it looks great in the eating area. It's exactly what I was wanting - something more formal than a normal kitchen dining table yet not too fancy that it didn't match the rest of the great room feeling...and still a little countryish. The china hutch part got left behind at the warehouse so it will be delivered a little later....probably when they bring us the check to pay for the repairs to my truck. Yes, that's right...they hit my truck as they were pulling out of the driveway. This is the guy that was driving. At least they were honest and came back to tell us.

You can't see it all that well in these pictures but the back bumper and right side are all dented and scratched. The inside of the bed on the right side is also dented. They actually pushed my truck 4 inches across the driveway when they hit it. I was upset, but amazingly, I didn't get angry. I realized that it was an accident and while they should have pulled out of the driveway a different direction, they didn't mean to damage it. They are determining if they want to pay outright for the repairs or submit it to their insurance company. They're supposed to call us back tomorrow.
