Why does vacation time always have to end so soon? I seriously could have stayed in SD for a few more days. But, alas, we were up, out the door, and on the road by 8:30 this morning. We stopped for lunch in Yuma at the Det Laco and were there about an hour between lunch and getting "fuel" as Dad would say. We made it to the Petshotel to pick up Dog around 3:30 and he was so happy to see us. He's still not sure about the new car though and was quite whiney all the way home.
It was nice to just sit and relax once we got home. It felt weird to just have a few hours to do whatever. My life just isn't like that much these days. I'm glad I don't have to teach tomorrow and I've been released from my calling as the bulletin specialist so I didn't have to do that either. It was nice just being with each other the rest of the evening.
