Wednesday - HFPE Prep Day

BLOG Reminder: It's shopping day for HFPE...oh yeah, and I have to iron all those wonderful tablecloths we just spent hours washing and drying because they're made of some wacky material that doesn't steam out wrinkles at all!
-----------------------------------------------
BLOG Entry: Okay, so after working all day, I went shopping for HFPE at Sam's Club (I LOVE Sam's Club but despise WM - why? They're owned by the same people!) and then at Fry's. Got everything but ice (no room in the freezer) and ginger root (out of it). C will have to go get those for me in the morning. Today C started ironing the tablecloths, bless his heart. He knew how important it was to me to have them look nice, so he pressed seven of them. He even mopped the kitchen floor (thank goodness - it was disgusting) and did a pretty good job for his first time of mopping the new wood floors in the house. When I came home, I finished the other 9. I finished doing a few other things I needed to do to get ready for tomorrow and then went to bed at 1 a.m.

I so hope tomorrow turns out well. I am nervous as it's my first quarterly enrichment and I'm afraid that something will go wrong or that the sisters won't enjoy the demonstrations or the food. C would say I worry too much. He's probably right, but it's just the way I am. Can't forget to take the camera.....

"Be not afraid, only believe. Believe in yourself. Believe in your capacity to do great and good things." President Gordon B. Hinckley

On a different note...some of you may have seen this going around via email, but I thought I'd share because we just had our Visiting Teaching conference at church this past Sunday and so it's kind of poignant. Be sure to watch the entire thing.
