Playing Catch Up

Whew! It's been a LONG time since I last posted. Sorry. I've been working 50-70 hour weeks and I've rarely had time to anything other than drive to work, go to church, or sleep. Let's see...what has happened lately?

Truck fixed - $1,830. No more scratches that were "keyed" into my tailgate! No more broken taillight! Entire tailgate and right rear side panel replaced! No more bent metal!!! Finally have my own truck back - YAY!!!

Enrichment Night for August done.

Working on Super Saturday for September.

Final piece of furniture delivered. Love it. Love the entire look. Still trying to put all the goodies in it how I want them. Need to buy some greenery to put on the top. Thought I'd taken a picture with my fancy pants camera, but apparently took it with my PNS (Leslie - get your mind out of the gutter and let someone else float by - that stands for Point-n-Shoot, not p*nis) and need to get some new batteries since the ones in it are dead and I can't download the pics from it yet.

Got called with C to be the Sunbeam B class teachers. Not happy about that. It's just so difficult for me emotionally. Was released as Relief Society pianist. Miss Relief Society already! Still doing HFPE though so I guess that is my "connection" to RS.

Finished 3QF and started on 2009 Plan.

Finally moved the buffet to its new home. Thanks for the great idea, Lisa. Love it there! (Those pics next to it sitting on the floor are not staying there.)

Went out to breakfast at "The Coral" (Golden Corral) this morning with C - it's a new tradition of ours - when it's a Monday holiday, we both have the day off and we go out for breakfast there.

C cleaned the BBQ and the patio today.

Went to Holland Boone this morning to shop for some holiday decor. C found an awesome hurricane lamp for the new table. We needed something BIG because the table is so HUGE! (Too bad it's entirely covered with Super Saturday stuff right now and we can't put the hurricane there yet!) Bought a beautiful fall garland to wrap around the base of the hurricane. Guess I need to pull out some additional fall decor out of storage now that I just barely put most of the Christmas stuff away back in July!

Um...I think that's it except for work, work, work and Super Saturday, Super Saturday, Super Saturday. Not a real eventful month, but busy all the same. Will try to spend a little more time this month keeping up-to-date on the goings on.

You do know that a Bishop and Primary President would only submit names for that class who were the most outstanding people on the planet?????!!!!!! It is one of the most pivotal classes and turning points in a child's life. This is an amazing honor and compliment to you and Clint. Congratulations! I prayed and sweated my 'guts' out to make sure we had the best people there. If you were in my ward, you'd be at the top of my list!
