It has been raining the entire day. It has not stopped at all. We have about 4 inches of water in our south side yard that is not draining for some reason. I think we're going to have to go out and dig a little trench in the dark to help it along so it doesn't start coming up under the frame of the house.
Now, we're under tornado
watch warning too! It was a watch for a bit, but now they've upgraded it to an actual warning. It may be a scary night since we can't see it coming. This is the second time in 3 years that our city has been under tornado watch or warning. It's a little nerve-racking. Melon Man is at work and I am alone. I'm going to go now and turn on the news to watch what's happening.
Update: The night ended without a tornado touching down so that is good. It was a super rain-filled day and night though. There are a number of highways that are closed due to snow and a number of homes up north have been evacuated for one reason or another. It will be interesting to see what daylight brings tomorrow.

Isn't it the weirdest storm! We have been on 2 tornado watches this week alone. It's kind of scary. We have had to keep the tv on for all the emergency broadcasts they do many times during the day.
Be safe!
wow....crazy weather going on lately!
It was crazy wasn't it! I am so glad we are ok. Lots of water. Put we could use it!
